An 82-year-old Navy vet was shopping in a California 99 Cent store for a birthday card when chaos erupted, leading to a tragic and violent end to his life. The media is scarcely covering this story, and they have notably refrained from labeling it a “hate crime,” likely due to the victim being white and his assailant being black. But given all the black-on-white crimes lately and the anti-white hate being spewed by the left, you can’t help but wonder if this was yet another act of racism from the increasingly angry black community.

The media will never tell you this, but black-on-white crimes are soaring. This article is from June 2023, and it highlights black-on-white crimes in May 2023.

Unz:

Forty-three victims reported in May, give or take two Vietnamese-Americans, one Lebanese-American, and some “white Hispanics.” As usual, a truly remarkable number were white women (and in one case a brother) killed by their black Significant Others. We have one case of a white man killed by a black woman. Robbery, road rage and home invasion also figure. And there was a remarkable case of a young black man apparently vigilante-killing homeless white drug users in Arizona, to absolutely no national media attention at all. But perhaps the most tragic: the entirely random, apparently accidental victims who died because they were in the Wrong Place At The Wrong Time—i.e. America.

Unusually we count six white-on-black killings in May, including one Significant Other incident that could easily have gone the other way.

These statistics are unsettling, and what’s also concerning is how difficult they are to find on the internet. Clearly, this information is being censored for a reason.

Fox 26:

The Hanford Police Department says an 82-year-old man was in the store browsing for birthday cards when someone walked up to him and stabbed him repeatedly in an aisle.

Officers say the suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Ryan Washington and the two do not know each other.

The elderly man died at the scene and Washington was arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail where he faces a homicide charge.

Of course, in this story, there’s none of the usual speculation we’d see if the roles were reversed and the bad guy was white. If that were the case, the media would twist itself into a pretzel, attempting to craft a “racism” narrative, facts or not. However, in this instance, the story gets about three paragraphs and a shoulder shrug before moving on to the next piece, in hopes of finding something juicier to line up with the regime-approved narrative. When that happens, wild theories and round-the-clock coverage would surely follow.

What’s worse is that it appears that many of the victims of these sorts of terrible crimes are coerced and intimidated by the Department of Justice to shut up and put on a happy face for the sake of racial harmony.

Revolver broke the lid on this story just one week ago in an article entitled, Is This Shadowy DOJ Department Concocting “PC” Statements for White Families Who Are Victims of Murder and Rape by Minorities?

Revolver:

As it turns out, the Department of Justice has a service specifically designed to ensure whites don’t get the wrong idea about minority crimes. The Community Relations Service bills itself as “America’s Peacemaker” for:

communities facing conflict based on actual or perceived race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability. CRS works toward its mission by providing facilitated dialogue, mediation, training, and consultation to assist these communities to come together, develop solutions to the conflict, and enhance their capacity to independently prevent and resolve future conflict.

A recent example of CRS activity was interfering with a Virginia school board that upset the transgender lobby. Roanoke County recently implemented clear rules on gender-assigned bathrooms, pronouns, and names used for students. Transgender activists objected to these rules and aggressively protested at school board meetings. The CRS contacted the school board to offer its “services” to reduce community tensions. This interference appeared to favor the transgender lobby over that of parents.

America First Legal:

On July 31, 2023, Hannah Levine of the Department of Justice’s “Community Relations Service” sent an email to Roanoke County Public Schools, stating: “CRS is aware of ongoing community tensions in Roanoke County following the release of the new model policies for transgender students. I’d like to connect to see if we might be able to offer support and services as you work to manage conflict with the community related to this.”

It is unclear why CRS would inject itself into an issue that is properly one for the Commonwealth of Virginia and Roanoke County Public Schools. What is clear, however, is that CRS has positioned itself not as a neutral arbitrator of issues related to transgenders but as a government entity that is fully behind the Biden Administration’s radical transgender agenda.

The CRS also intervened when Somali migrants killed a white man in Lewiston, Maine, in 2018. State police said race fueled the murder of Donald Giusti. The violence highlighted the danger of the new arrivals, but CRS wanted the local whites to ignore that problem.

The federal service came in with the purpose of easing “racial tensions” by making the natives learn cultural sensitivity and respect for Islam. The CRS’s efforts appeared to succeed as the town kept bringing in more Somalis without further disturbance. One might wonder how the CRS’s promotion of the transgender agenda reconciles with their alleged respect for Islam. The apparent contradiction is resolved when one realizes that anything that humiliates or contributes to the dispossession of traditional America is very much part of the CRS portfolio.

It should not come as a surprise then to discover that the CRS has partnered with notoriously disgraced, anti-white, anti-American organizations like the Anti-Defamation League (an organization so ridiculous that it counts gestures such as the “OK sign” as hate symbols).

Department of Justice:

Representatives from the FBI will discuss hate crime statistics, local hate crime investigations and the FBI’s collaboration with local partners. The event will also include speakers from the Anti-Defamation League and the Department of Justice’s Community Relations Service will discuss their respective roles in interfacing with the community and stakeholders to monitor and address acts of hate locally and nationally.

To its great credit, the Trump administration sought to defund this organization. One of Merrick Garland’s top priorities, of course, was reinstating the funding.

Our hearts go out to Mr. Chartland’s family, and we hope they receive the answers and justice they rightfully deserve.
