Just my opinion but my sense is if McCarthy had not embraced Ukraine funding all year; formed a separate J6 committee or at least a highly functioning weaponization committee; and immediately moved to impeach Garland, Wray, and/or Mayorkas, none of this happens.

Then a new Speaker is voted on, as many rounds as it takes just like January
