The once highly respected news show “60 Minutes” has plummeted into the depths of disgrace with a recent hour’s worth of shameless, state-run propaganda. For anyone not aligned with the progressive religion, the show has become virtually unwatchable. It has reached numerous lows, and one of the most baffling is the series of puff pieces they’ve produced featuring suspected government informant Ray Epps. He’s made so many appearances on the show that we’re half-expecting him to get his own CBS dressing room soon. No one understands 60 Minutes’ ability to manipulate a story better than Revolver’s own Darren Beattie, who discussed the initial Ray Epps interview with Charlie Kirk.

And just when you think 60 Minutes can’t sink any lower, they manage to prove us wrong with a shamelessly embarrassing interview featuring disgraced Attorney General Merrick Garland, who gave an Oscar-worthy performance while discussing the state of “democracy” in the United States. Of course, “democracy” has become the new buzzword liberals use as a cover for all their recent Marxist actions. Censorship, political prisoners, activist judges—it’s all just part of their selfless strategy to “save democracy.” The interview was so soft that it made marshmallows seem as hard as bricks. At one point, CBS reporter Scott Pelley literally cried alongside Merrick Garland over the supposed threats to our democracy. It felt like watching a poorly-acted dinner theater performance. Independent journalist Michael Tracey had his jaw on the floor while witnessing this propaganda abomination.

Here’s what Michael said about the interview:

This is what passes for an adversarial interview these days on 60 Minutes, the flagship American newsmagazine program. Correspondent Scott Pelley literally crying with the Attorney General over how strongly they feel about Threats to Democracy™ … and also the Holocaust

Scott Pelley really holding Merrick Garland’s feet to the fire with these probing, relentless questions: “Two of your ancestors were murdered in the Holocaust. Is that why you devoted yourself to the law?” “Why do you feel so strongly about that?”

After watching that interview, one can’t help but wonder if Mr. Garland’s ancestors might have reservations about his involvement in creating political prisoners and detaining them in substandard prisons without providing a fair trial, legal representation, or access to evidence, solely because these people support President Trump.
