Many folks were elated when they heard  that Hunter Biden was facing not just one, but TWO felony charges. It led some to believe that justice was finally going to prevail. Regrettably, that’s unlikely to be the case. What we’re likely witnessing is a calculated move by the regime to give the appearance of fairness — that no one, not even President Trump or Hunter Biden, is above the law. Pfft. Don’t buy into it; it’s all smoke and mirrors.

CNBC:

Federal prosecutors plan to ask a grand jury to indict Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, on gun-related charge before Sept. 29, they revealed in a court filing Wednesday.

The plan was disclosed in a status report that special counsel David Weiss filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware, six weeks after a planned plea deal that would have seen Hunter plead guilty to tax crimes — while avoiding conviction on the gun charge — collapsed after a judge questioned its terms.

A lawyer for Hunter later said Wednesday that the prior deferred prosecution deal is still valid for the gun charge, meaning that Hunter cannot be charged with that crime if he stays out of trouble for two years, at which point that case would be closed.

The lawyer, Abbe Lowell, also said the deal bars Weiss from filing any more charges against Hunter.

The gun charge that Weiss indicates he will seek from a grand jury prohibits people who are users of illicit drugs from possessing a firearm.

Sadly, this isn’t “justice” at all. In reality, the uni-party regime has a well-crafted plan to protect Hunter Biden once and for all. You see, Joe will simply bide his time and pardon Hunter after the election results are in. Whether he wins or loses, or even if he opts out of running altogether, he can wait to issue the pardon until every last illegal mail-in ballot has been counted behind closed doors, in the middle of the night.

Legal expert Mike Davis shed light on the real backstage maneuvering through a series of insightful posts on platform X:

Don’t be fooled. Both Democrat senators picked Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss. Protected Bidens for years. Let statute of limitations expire on tax charges. Buried credible evidence of Bidens’ foreign bribery. Tried to give Hunter secret immunity.

Biden knows he can’t pardon Hunter now. Politically and legally disastrous. If pardoned, Hunter can’t plead the Fifth and refuse to testify before Congress. Same with plea/immunity deal with Weiss. So Weiss’s bogus charges shield Hunter. And Joe. They’ll fix after election.

So, what’s the workaround to achieve some real justice here? Well, Mike has a solution for that too, but it would require Republicans to show some actual backbone and genuinely hold the Bidens accountable, rather than just putting on another ‘Trey Gowdy” type show.

Will Republicans take Mike’s suggestion? Chances are, they won’t. You see, this likely isn’t a sincere effort. The Republicans are mainly putting on a show and probably have no real intention of getting to the bottom of things or holding anyone in the establishment accountable. They’ll do just enough to appear as though they’re pursuing the truth, and maybe even help the Dems by sidelining Joe for the 2024 race. But make no mistake, the GOP’s primary objective aligns with the Dems’: keeping Trump out of the White House.
