In a stunning interview with Tucker Carlson, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund makes it clear that higher-ups wanted the Capitol to be overrun with protestors. Sund begged for assistance all day from multiple agencies (and General Charles Flynn) and was denied support. The Department of Defense even sent extra protection to generals’ private residences while leaving the Capitol wide open until 6 p.m., when the National Guard finally showed up.

Incidentally, Sund agrees that Ray Epps’ actions were “suspicious as hell.”
