Maui, a paradise, is currently engulfed in mystery. A smoky haze has covered the island, both literally and metaphorically. Something seems very “off” about the events before, during, and after the fires. Our government officials — from the highest levels down — have acted in a way that’s alarming, even for buffoons known for their incompetence, like Joe Biden and Maui’s mayor. The mayor has really set the bar low, by refusing to disclose the current death toll or talk about the missing children, not to mention the array of bumbling fools in Hawaii’s state government, who put people at risk with their negligent and inept handling of the actual fire and the evacuation. Joe Biden showed up a week later and made matters worse by insulting and offending everyone repeatedly. Those poor people can’t catch a break.

There are numerous questions emerging about how the fires started and why they were essentially permitted to burn by climate nuts who didn’t want to “waste” sacred water. Why did local officials barricade people in, rather than assisting them to safety? Is this the reason so many children are absent from school now? Did the government actually allow them to burn to death? These are the pressing questions that people are demanding answers to. And  while the politicians are still tight-lipped, some truth is leaking out, thanks to videos like this one, which show how Maui residents were literally trapped, like rats in a burning cage, thanks to local officials.

The government better gear up because, while they may be accustomed to sweeping their mistakes and evil deeds under the rug or brushing them off with a silly excuse, that approach won’t work this time. Too many people can see that something is off, and they’re digging for the truth. Come hell or high water, what really happened will be known.
