A “refugee” by the name of Mohamad Barakat had ominous plans for his Sunday afternoon in Fargo, North Dakota back on July the 14th. Leaving his home with an alarming amount of weapons and ammunition, he appeared to be ready to unleash “jihad” against the unsuspecting citizens of Fargo who had welcomed him into their city.

Thankfully, Mohamad’s plans didn’t pan out. Instead of carrying out his likely intended violence at the Fargo fair, fate stepped in and prevented him from reaching his final destination. Instead of unleashing a “holy war,” the violent “refugee” found himself in a two-minute intense battle with the police. Tragically, two police officers and one innocent woman lost her life at the hands of this monster.

NEW — Body camera footage shows a gunman opening a “barrage” of gunfire on North Dakota police as they responded to a routine crash before one officer ended the nearly 2-minute assault.

Mohamad Barakat, armed with 1800 rounds of ammunition, multiple firearms, tactical gear, a grenade, and homemade explosives, ambushed police officers, tragically killing 23-year-old Officer Jake Wallin and injuring his colleagues, 22-year-old Tyler Hawes and 28-year-old Andrew Dotas.

Barakat, a Syrian asylum seeker who moved to the U.S. in 2012, also shot a woman fleeing the scene before being shot and killed by Officer Zach Robinson.

Authorities believe Barakat’s ambush was the prelude to a larger attack that day, with a potential target of the Downtown Fargo Street Fair attended by thousands.

His internet search history revealed searches related to mass shootings across the country, with his final search focusing on the Downtown Fargo Street Fair, which was taking place on the same day.

A Guatemalan migrant has been nabbed and charged with sexually assaulting and fatally strangling an 11-year-old Texas girl, then stuffing her body in a laundry bag under her bed.

Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez, 18, was on the lam for nearly a week after the horrific Aug 12 assault of little Maria Gonzalez in Pasadena before cops caught up with him in Louisiana on Saturday and he confessed, KHOU-TV reported.

Rodriguez — who crossed the US border with Mexico in January, self-surrendered to authorities and was then cut loose again — was charged with capital murder and is awaiting extradition back to Texas.

He lived in the same apartment complex as Maria and her family outside Houston — and was tied to her brutal slaying after accidentally dropping his apartment key in their home after the crime, officials have said.

The body of his young victim was found by her father, Carmelo Gonzalez, in the bag under her bed at their home, authorities have said.

There is a growing epidemic of these types of attacks — but even one is too many.
