‘Please excuse me’: Donald Trump slams ‘radical lowlife’ Fani Willis

Former US president Donald Trump has called Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis a "radical lowlife" in a series of social media posts before travelling to the state of Georgia on Thursday, local time.

"Please excuse me, I have to start getting ready to head down to Atlanta, Georgia … to get arrested by a radical left lowlife District Attorney Fani Willis," the 77-year-old wrote on Truth Social.

Mr Trump also accused Ms Willis of not "going after real criminals".

"Failed District Attorney Fani Willis … doesn’t have the time, money, or interest to go after the real criminals … that are destroying Atlanta, and its once beautiful culture and way of life."
