1. Douglass Mackey was accused of participating in conspiracy based on conversations that occurred in group chats where he wasnโt even a member. "Conspiracy" was proven based on conversations he didn't have: the key witness claimed they had a "silent conspiracy" together.
2. The prosecutionโs key witness (Microchip) was charged with a crime by the same investigative team supporting the prosecution. He was then told that a โletter of recommendationโ would depend on his performance as a witness against Douglass Mackey.
3. The key witness changed his story after being charged by the feds. First he said that the memes in question were not intended to trick or prevent anyone from voting. Much later, after being charged, he โrememberedโ differently.
4. Despite the fact that Doug didnโt reside there, and no activity related to the case occurred there, the E District of New York was chosen as the venue based on the argument that the fiber optic cables carrying his tweets passed through Brooklyn en-route to Twitterโs servers.
These outrages are just scratching the surface of what took place during this trial. You need to read the whole thing to understand how they railroaded Douglass Mackey, and what it means for YOU.
Basically, this verdict means that anyone (including you) could be found criminally liable for "conspiracy" if the authorities can find someone to claim you had a "silent conspiracy" together, even if you never discussed the matter together. This is where we're at.
@DonaldJTrumpJr @MattWalshBlog @ColumbiaBugle @julie_kelly2 @esaagar @jordanbpeterson @barnes_law @ArthurSchwartz @Not_the_Bee @AnthonySabatini @emeriticus @realchrisrufo @RubinReport @JennaEllisEsq You can contribute to Mackeyโs defense here. Please be generous. He has strong prospects for appeal, but this kind of defense is expensive.
Reflecting this Memorial Day. I want to tell you about America's secret Constitution, buried at Arlington Cemetery in the Tomb of the Unknowns. /T/
The Tomb of the Unknowns, dedicated in 1921, is a monument in Arlington Virginia dedicated to the memory of all American soldiers, sailors, Marines, and airmen.
Out of honor for the dead, the Tomb of the Unknowns has been kept under 24 hour guard, day and night, in every season, even through the attacks of Sept 11th. The Old Guard, a special unit of hand-picked soldiers, has kept this watch continually and without fail since 1937.
Whatโs going on is the government has depersonalized itself out of existence. It used to be that if one broke the sovereignโs peace it was treated as a personal affront; justice was a matter of personal retribution. /1
This system was seen as crude and morally deficient so was gradually replaced with impersonal โsystemsโ of discipline with a veneer of science and morality. /2
e.g. instead of the beat cop, who is negotiable, relatable, you get surveillance cameras. An actual person enforcing the law is seen as a crude relic to be obsoleted by technology. /3
Some thoughts about Douglass Mackey, the hard times ahead, and how we win in the end.
The United States as we know it will pass away. I cannot say how, but I know that it will, because BOTH the left and the right want it gone. The left has their insane race and sexual grievances, and the right is realizing more and more that the US is a decaying, abusive monster.
So best to be done with it. This will entail a lot of suffering and a lot of change. People underestimate the amount of change that can occur in 100 years. In 1923, who could have imagined today? So who can imagine tomorrow? Tomorrow is free space. Tomorrow is unwritten.
From beginning to end the trial of Douglass Mackey was a kangaroo court. He was tried in Brooklyn because the prosecution argued the fiber optic cables passed through there. A sham.
The FBI groomed a witness, and held the threat of conviction over his head based on his cooperation in the Mackey trial.
When Douglass tried to bring a witness forward, SPLC goons intimidated him with the loss of his livelihood.
Community notes is actually a great feature. Remember how NPR had to retract a tweet after they got a community note? This should have a note saying โThere is currently no evidence of any credible threats to the trans community in Tennesseeโ
For that matter, every single tweet by every media organization should always have a community note.
Community notes are a system that any Twitter user can participate in. You sign up and receive an anonymous ID. Notes you submit get rated, so you should strive for accuracy and neutral tone.
