Everyone remembers the effeminate mayor of Minneapolis, right? Who can forget Jacob Frey — he’s the soy-chugging virtue signaler who defended Black Lives Matter as they burned his city to the ground during the loving George Floyd crusades, only to get booed and heckled by those same exact people during a “Defund the Police” rally.

Well, Jacob has made headlines once again, and this time it’s all thanks to his spastic “twerk dance” on Juneteenth, causing winces nationwide.

But this twerking saga isn’t just about watching a grown man dance like he’s an extra in a rap video — it’s symbolic of a deeper societal shift, where mainstream culture is increasingly influenced by a minority culture. Keep that in mind, as you watch this horror show unfold.

To anyone thinking clearly and not swayed by misguided virtue signaling, this dance seems absolutely mortifying. It begs the question, why would a respectable man behave like this? But it’s all about yielding. Jacob’s not just busting out a twerk, it’s like he’s an animal offering a non-verbal signal of submission, indicating to the rest of the pack that he’s not a threat and yearns for acceptance into their group.

That’s pretty much the state of America today — the mainstream culture often seems to be bending over backwards to appease a minority culture, all in the hopes of acceptance and approval. The idea of “virtue” started out great, but has gotten twisted along the way.

The first, and still most famous advocate for virtue ethics was the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle. He argued that a virtuous person must actually practice acts of virtue and do the arduous work of becoming virtuous: “Men become builders by building houses, and harpists by playing the harp. Similarly, we become just by the practice of just actions, self-controlled by exercising self-control, and courageous by performing acts of courage.” Aristotle would have surely been a staunch critic of today’s depressing trend toward virtue signaling had he, God forbid, been alive to see it.

However, this obsession with virtue signaling and submitting to the minority not just a liberal thing — yes, their behavior is obviously more obnoxious — but right-wing folks do it too. Conservatives conserve very little and capitulate to the left on their core beliefs to demonstrate how not racist they are. That’s why we’ve lost control of our churches, schools, and medial industry, and a whole host of other things.

Many of the comments regarding Jacob’s twerking were rather intriguing:

He should have done this at George Floyd’s funeral.

“Mayor? That kid looks like he JUST hit puberty”

“majoritarian Americans shed their cultures of origin and gave all matters of culture to commercial markets, they left a vacuum for this that will always be filled by something else”

“Immigrants used to come here and aspire to become like the majority.”

Speaking of George Floyd’s funeral, who could forget this?

Juneteenth was ignored by a vast majority of Americans.

Newsweek:

Some 51 percent of respondents said they had no plans to celebrate, while 32 percent said they did and 17 percent said they didn’t know. Of those who had no plans to celebrate, a majority (54 percent) said they would not take part in a Juneteenth celebration even if they were invited to do so.

And those who weren’t ignoring the new holiday were either being shot or twerking away their dignity, all in the name of submitting to a “virtuous” ideology that flies in the face of the very principles this nation was built on.
