We have a handful of politicians who truly understand and embrace the America First movement. They not only have the ability to recognize those who are against our interests, even when they pretend to be on our side, but they also possess the courage to call them out directly. One such politician is Matt Gaetz, who recently delivered a powerful line of questioning on the House Floor that exposed the true nature of John Durham’s actions and debunked the notion that he was fighting for justice.

Durham was called before the House to address his 316-page report, which revealed the extent of corruption within the disgraced FBI. However, the report fell short of holding individuals personally accountable for their involvement in the coup against President Trump.

Special counsel John Durham, who scrutinized the origins of the FBI’s investigation into possible links between Russia and former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, testified before a House committee on Wednesday, detailing the “sobering” findings of his controversial report one week after its release.

Durham’s appearance before the House Judiciary Committee was the second time he appeared before lawmakers this week. He testified behind closed doors to the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.

“As we said in the report, our findings were sobering,” Durham told the committee. “I can tell you, having spent 40 years plus as a prosecutor, they were particularly sobering to me.”

Durham’s 316-page report was critical of the FBI, saying agents showed “confirmation bias” and finding that the basis for opening an investigation into whether Trump’s campaign was coordinating with Russia in 2016 was “seriously flawed.”

“Neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” the report said, referring to the codename for the FBI’s Trump probe.

Gaetz fearlessly confronted Durham, who was seated just a few feet away. As Darren Beattie from Revolver accurately described, Gaetz’s performance was nothing short of masterful. John Durham was a diversion for conservatives. He was tasked with redirecting public attention, creating the illusion that justice was in progress, when in fact, he was helping the key players cover their tracks. It was a much-needed win to finally hear someone say that aloud and straight to Durham’s face.

Matt took it a step further on Twitter where he actually asserted that Durham is part of the coverup.

Later that evening, Adam Schiff was censured by the House for the vicious lies he told regarding the Russia Hoax and the phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky that resulted in Trump’s first impeachment.

They give us these minor, pointless concessions, but the truth is that over half of our government should have been arrested and tried for treason.
