A man was stabbed to death during a wild broad-daylight brawl in the middle of a Chelsea crosswalk — where they fought it out as grizzled New Yorkers strolled casually by the mayhem, according to video of the incident.

The fight broke out just before 8:15 a.m. in the busy crossing at West 30th Street and Seventh Avenue, where the two men squared up to each other and started throwing massive haymakers, according to cops and video of the incident.

While one woman can be seen in the clip walking by in the crossing and barely giving the fisticuffs a glance, another woman who appeared to be a nurse walks right between the men as the larger combatant holds a knife.

She appears to give them a tongue-lashing.

“One lady got in between and told them ‘don’t fight,'” said a worker at a nearby laundry who gave his name as Mr. Lee.

Despite her attempt at peacemaking, moments later, the shirtless 36-year-old can be seen in the video later bleeding in the crosswalk with cops frantically trying to save the man’s life.

EMS rushed him to Bellevue Hospital where he died.

His name has not been released pending family notification.

The other man, identified by cops as Nisean Graves, was taken into custody and charged with murder Friday afternoon, cops said.

The alleged attacker, wearing an all-white Tyvek jumpsuit, didn’t say a word as police walked him out of the Midtown South Precinct to an unmarked NYPD car.

Graves, a 34-year-old homeless man, attacked a person in May 2021 in Lower Manhattan, stabbing the victim in both arms, according to a criminal complaint.

A judge sentenced him to a year in jail in June 2021 after copping to one count of third-degree assault, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

He is also a registered sex offender who served nine years in prison for attempted rape, prison records show.

He was released in January 2019

It was unclear what sparked the violence.

Nearby workers who watched the fatal encounter described the rare incident as “terrible.”

“The homeless man had a knife and the other gentleman without the shirt was just ducking the knife,” said Gil, a 58-year-old who works in a Chelsea building.

“It wasn’t a very big knife. But the guy [victim] wasn’t holding anything back… he was standing his ground.”

A laundromat worker said the victim was stabbed in the middle of the chest and died on the street.

“He was already dead before he could get to the hospital,” Mr. Lee said a detective told him.

“Blood poured out,” he said, adding, “He fell down in seconds and lots of police showed up.”

“I’ve never seen blood like that. It was like a movie.”
