Tucker Carlson was one of the few mainstream media hosts who dared to question the United States’ involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. He was critical of the war and called out politicians who were more interested in doing Ukraine’s biding than Americas. Tucker gave his viewers a much-needed alternate perspective, and one that differed from the regimes narrative and the propaganda media. Now that Tucker’s gone, the regime has no prime-time or mainstream media resistance to World War III.
Some people think that the reason Tucker Carlson was taken off the air was because he was speaking out against the war in Ukraine too much. The powers-that-be were probably scared because Tucker’s message of peace and putting America first was really connecting with regular folks who don’t want to see their kids get sent off to fight in another never-ending war just so some rich defense contractor can buy another mansion.
Tucker was hell-bent on holding GOP politicians responsible for their backing of the Ukraine conflict. And of course, some of these politicians, such as Congressman McCaul, took offense and made the mistake of attacking Tucker, labeling him a “Russian propagandist.”
In once instance, Tucker and RINO McCaul came face-to-face Tucker accused the congressman from Texas’ 10th district of having a low-IQ.
Ouch.
In a segment last year, the Fox News host told viewers that the Republican chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee had privately called his show “Russian disinformation.”
“In other words, not only are we wrong — which is fine — we are disloyal Americans. We’re doing the bidding of a foreign power,” Carlson said. “That is not fine, that is slander.”
According to two people familiar with the conversation, the then-Fox News host also made his displeasure to McCaul known in a tense private conversation in which Carlson criticized the congressman’s comments, describing the congressman as having a low IQ. (Both Carlson and McCaul’s office declined to discuss the conversation).
The populist Republican right remains hostile to the war effort and at times openly sympathetic to Russia. But none of Fox’s other top figures seem to share Carlson’s zeal.
“Clearly, he spooked a lot of members into not being fully supportive of Ukraine,” a senior Republican congressional aide told Semafor. Carlson’s ouster, the aide added, “probably reduces the loudest voice out there against U.S. support.”
Gotta love Tucker, right?
We may never know the real reason he was removed from the airwaves, but it’s clear that silencing him was beneficial for both the war machine and the low-IQ RINOs.
