Earlier this week, gunmaker Heckler Koch did the unthinkable… they sided with Miller Lite’s dystopian feminazi “woke” ad in a series of now-deleted hysterical tweets from the female lead on their marketing team.
HK inserted themselves into the “woke beer wars” by showing support for Miller Lite’s cringeworthy feminist campaign against the use of “sexy women” in product promotions. HK praised Miller Lite for their decision not to employ sexy “bunnies” in their beer advertisements. The gunmaker took it a step further the following day, issuing a second tweet denouncing such “objectifying” advertising campaigns as “trash marketing.”
Here’s a screenshot of one of the tweets that was deleted.
It turns out the woman who was allegedly behind the emotional and unprofessional tweets is a former bikini model.
The irony…
UPDATE: It turns out the bikini model was NOT behind the woke Heckler & Koch ads…
The backlash was swift and harsh, prompting HK to promptly delete the four tweets. However, that didn’t halt the flood of angry messages. So the gun maker went one step further and issued one of the most creative apologies we’ve seen — a refreshing approach considering the emotional and hysterical tone of the earlier tweets.

The creative apology seems to have smoothed things over for many folks.
“This is such an amazingly refreshing and direct response. My love grows.”
“The road forward means never looking backwards. I’d expect nothing less from the brand that will never compromise.”
“This is probably the best way I have seen a company deal with an episode like this”
It’s pretty incredible how much of an impact woke women can have these days. Just four loony tweets can bring down your entire company. HK got lucky this time and avoided a disastrous outcome, but maybe it’s time for them to reconsider who they have on their marketing team.
