West Virginia men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins jokingly used the word “fag” to refer to Xavier fans during an appearance on the Bill Cunningham Show on WLW-AM.

Huggins’s use of the word caused the LGBTQ mob to spring into action.

The LGBTQ mob followed their usual pattern of outrage and demanded Bob’s head on a spike. Eventually, Bob caved under the pressure and issued a groveling apology, expressing his shame and embarrassment for using the “insensitive and abhorrent phrase.”
But it seems that Bob’s groveling apology wasn’t good enough. The school decided to take further action against him and docked him $1 million in pay, showing that in today’s world, the consequences of using a no-no word can be very costly.
West Virginia and men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins are finalizing details for him to return as the school’s coach following his use of an anti-LGBTQ slur in a radio interview earlier this week, according to a report by Mike Casazza of 247Sports.
As part of the agreement to return, Huggins is expected to receive a suspension and a $1 million salary reduction, and he will be required to attend sensitivity training, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports.
This nearly “deadly debacle” has taught all of us a valuable lesson: uttering the “fag”-word comes with a steep price tag of one million dollars. But let’s not forget that the punishment for using the n-word is much harsher — it usually leads to being fired, canceled, and completely erased from public life. So while Bob’s penalty is certainly hefty, it’s not quite as severe as the consequences of other more “deadly” no-no words.
At least Bob escaped with his life… this time.

According to some sources/studies, ChatGPT chooses to let millions of people die from a nuclear detonation rather than use a single racial slur password to disarm the bomb.
