Elon Musk is very active on Twitter today, firing off Tweets and taking shots at all sorts of people, in addition to recommending that independent voters turn Republican.

Elon doubled down on his voting recommendation with this Tweet:

The Tesla boss also took a swipe at both Twitter competitor Mastodon and the economist Paul Krugman with tweets that he quickly deleted, perhaps fearing a defamation suit.

Below the belt?

Musk also memed.

Will Elon sue the ADL?

Here’s hoping.

Hmmm. If Musk thinks Twitter is going to somehow become the arbiter of truth, then that’s extremely concerning for free speech on the platform:

In other news, verified blue checkmark accounts are getting suspended for malicious impersonation.

Elon later explained his reasoning here:

So, pseudonymous accounts WILL be able to get a blue checkmark. Interesting, and a seemingly positive development.
