Former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, a Democrat from Missouri, wandered onto the set of Morning Joe this morning to push wild-eyed, crazed conspiracy theories about Putin, Deutsche Bank, Trump, and hydroxycloroquine.

“I really am interested on this hydroxychloroquine,” McCaskill emphasized. “I’m interested to ask Jonathan Lemire, as he’s in the press room and as he’s working his sources and his news agency is working sources. I’m assuming there’s investigative types out there following the money on hydroxy, because it’s the only thing that makes sense, you know. You know, does Putin have a stake in hydroxy? You know, is the Deutsche Bank backing hydroxy?”

She continued, “It is baffling to me that there is such a chorus within the Trump base and the Trump media outlets and Trump about this drug. It has to be money. Is somebody looking at that? Is there any hope that we’re going to find that there’s somebody who’s making real money off this?” [Breitbart]

When America sends its people to the United States Senate, they’re not sending their best. It goes without saying that McCaskill’s behavior is extremely unbecoming of a former U.S. Senator. But this is the new normal for the Democratic party, which no longer even bothers to cloak their iron-fisted lust for power in a velvet glove.

The left-wing cargo cult loves to constantly wave the words “facts” and “science” around the town square like a talisman, but for McCaskill and the rest of the Democrats, their opposition to hydroxychloroquine is purely a political power play.

The facts and science appear to be on the side of hydroxychloroquine’s effectiveness, as even CNN deigned to admit earlier this month.

A surprising new study found that the controversial antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine helped patients better survive in the hospital.

A team at Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan said Thursday its study of 2,541 hospitalized patients found that those given hydroxychloroquine were much less likely to die.

Dr. Marcus Zervos, division head of infectious disease for Henry Ford Health System, said 26% of those not given hydroxychloroquine died, compared to 13% of those who got the drug. The team looked back at everyone treated in the hospital system since the first patient in March.

“Overall crude mortality rates were 18.1% in the entire cohort, 13.5% in the hydroxychloroquine alone group, 20.1% among those receiving hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin, 22.4% among the azithromycin alone group, and 26.4% for neither drug,” the team wrote in a report published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases. McCaskill was always portrayed by America’s mainstream press as a moderate, reasonable midwestern Democrat. She wore the moderate and reasonable mask long enough to fool the good people of Missouri, but now she feels confident enough to discard the disguise. Like so many other members of the “reasonable” and “moderate” left, she was always a wild-eyed lunatic underneath the “moderate”  facade.

The left-wing, anti-white, racist, illiberal and conspiratorial mob is currently running roughshod through our once-great institutions, and the puppetmasters of Democrats like McCaskill wish to use this wave to impose a tyrannical, globalist, anti-American regime.

If establishment Republicans understood what they were really up against, maybe they would actually grow enough backbone to shut down this faux-communist revolution with prejudice.
