The fake news will push “multiple sources” in order to try to convince people of their dubious news story.

Two anonymous sources give a story to NYT, which was responsible for Russia collusion hoax and WMDs in Iraq.

Those same sources give the story to other outlets.

That's *all* that confirmation means.

No one obtained new information.

They just repeated same hoax given to NYT.
