The civil war within the Democratic Party rages on, with Team Biden squaring off against media factions still loyal to Obama and his inner circle. Yet more political elites are now joining the fray, urging Biden to step down. They fear a Trump victory and are now scrambling to salvage some semblance of credibility, suddenly acting shocked by Biden’s apparent cognitive problems.

The media and these bubble-dwelling elites want you to think that their opinions are the end-all. But let’s be real: it’s the voters who call the shots in the end. As we watch this “political insurrection” unfold, where the media and the Deep State again try to manipulate a US election, one left-winger has noted that these usual culprits are hitting a brick wall. The truth is that hardcore Biden supporters seem perfectly fine nominating someone who might as well be a virtual corpse, complete with diapers and possibly battling Parkinson’s, for a second disastrous term. And if that’s the chaos they choose, well, we should happily let them roll with it.

John Marshall:

People seem to be waking up this weekend to the fact that there is very real grassroots pushback to efforts to force Biden off the ticket. Whether that is determinative or merited I’ll leave to the side for the moment. This should not come as any surprise.

It also gets at what has always been the most worrisome to me about this whole process. This entire conversation is taking place among campaign staffers, journalists, political influencers, elected officials et al who know virtually nothing abt what rank and file Dems feel about any of this. The thinking seems to be well what do they know. Well, maybe nothing. But they’re the voters, who the whole thing depends on. This is where the legitimacy comes in. People voted for Biden in the primaries. That means something.

I’m not saying this prescribes any particular course of action. But again the entire conversation is essentially the political and journalist elite talking to each other.

Addenda: I *think* it was Rep Debby Dingel who was on tv at the beginning of the week saying Biden needs to do a ton of press, needs to solve this etc. then she went back to the district and people were stopping her and saying hey what are you talking about?

Like we had a primary. We chose Biden. What are you talking about? And then she seemed to realize this wasn’t as simple as she thought.

Once again, the media and the elites are trying to set the tone, believing they should make the big decisions because, in their eyes, the lowly peasants just don’t have a clue. Ironically, these “lowly peasants” are simply following orders: support Biden unconditionally and ignore the glaring truths right before their eyes and ears.

Now, the media and the elites are reaping what they sowed, and the chaos is just getting worse.

Since that catastrophic debate, Biden has been under relentless scrutiny. Every step he takes, every move he makes, they’ll be watching him—and yes, that’s got to Sting (pun intended). But all jokes aside, Biden had a rough weekend. From needing kindergarten-level directions to overlooking black women, even black pastors have labeled him “handicapped.” It’s a downhill slide that’s only gaining speed.

 

And for those who’ve been living under a rock, the world is finally seeing what Biden’s shrieking, panicky staffers have been trying to hide all along.

Speaking of hiding stuff, conservative outlets like Revolver have been exposing Biden’s cognitive struggles for years, while the regime-controlled media and political elites ran cover for him and blatantly lied to the American people. Now that their protective facade has crumbled, they’re desperately clinging to any credibility left, all while continuing their crusade against their biggest adversary: President Trump. The polls don’t lie. They see the writing on the wall: Trump 2024 is becoming a very real outcome.

In this circus, we’re dealing with out-of-touch, career liars like Adam “Russia Hoax” Schiff, who rush to the regime-run media for another 15 minutes of PR glory, blissfully unaware and indifferent to the actual desires of their voters.

But hold your horses, out-of-touch elites; you’ve got some big hurdles ahead—not just the voters, but also the woman who’s giving Woodrow Wilson’s wife a run for her money: Jill Biden. She’s not about to give up her power or her sudden political career. We recently published a piece that reveals just how deeply Jill has sunk her claws into the White House.

It’s astonishing—this family clamors for heads to roll when the “Big Guy” embarrasses himself on the debate stage, yet remains dead silent about the tragic loss of 13 Americans in Afghanistan or the full-blown invasion at the US border. They are a selfish and disgusting family.

But the Bidens aren’t the only ones making moves on the political chessboard. According to Tucker Carlson, Obama is back at the drawing board with a clear plan: to oust Joe and Jill Biden. Tucker dropped a bombshell, citing an “unusually trusted source,” revealing Obama’s determined push to take down Mr. and Mrs. Biden.

From an unusually good source: Obama’s tweet supporting Joe Biden was disingenuous. In private, Obama is telling people Biden can’t win, and he is therefore in favor of an open convention. Obama will not say whom he supports, nor as of yesterday afternoon had he met personally with Biden to deliver the message. Relations between the Obamas and the Bidens have never been warm. At times they’ve been hostile. But recently they’ve deteriorated further, mostly due to Jill Biden. In the hours and days after the debate, she kept her husband cloistered away from anyone who might convince him to drop out. Jill Biden is the driving force behind her husband’s reelection campaign, just as she was in 2020, when other members of the family (including Biden’s sister Val) considered him too impaired to run. The next generation of potential Democratic candidates understands all this as an opportunity and they’re circling, particularly Gretchen Whitmer, who is promoting herself aggressively.

Right now, Jill is calling the shots because her husband can’t, and she’s digging her heels in deep.

Clearly, the battle over whether to oust Joe or keep him is heating up. It’s a tug-of-war between the voters and the elites, and it’s anyone’s guess who’ll come out on top. But here’s the bottom line: it’s not “easy” to just boot ol’ Joe out. He’ll have to agree to step down, and as long as he feels backed by his primary voters, he won’t budge—and those of us who support Trump don’t want him to, for obvious reasons.
