The unfolding situation in Brazil is eerily similar to what we’re experiencing in the US, almost as if they’re following the exact same script. Jair Bolsonaro, a populist leader adored by the masses, was removed from office and replaced by a globalist puppet.

As a result of this, because we all know fake elections have consequences, the totalitarian Brazilian government is enforcing “North Korea-style” censorship in ways many thought were unimaginable in this day and age. The madness kicked off when Brazil moved to regulate X following Elon Musk’s refusal to bend the knee to their anti-free speech agenda. Brazil’s Attorney-General, Jorge Messias, launched a full-frontal assault when Musk brushed off this Marxist move. Messias declared, “We cannot tolerate a society where billionaires residing abroad wield control over social networks, flout legal orders, and intimidate our authorities. It’s imperative to regulate social networks.”

So, let’s get this straight: Messias frets about “billionaires” safeguarding free speech but turns a blind eye to wealthy, elite politicians trying to squash it. No doubt, Jack Dorsey and the old guard at Twitter would have caved in within seconds. In addition, a Brazilian Supreme Court Justice demanded the blocking of certain X accounts over allegations of “hate speech” and misinformation—two terms often used by radical globalists to push their oppressive agendas under the false pretense of being the “good guys” protecting “democracy.” In reality, it’s a facade for power, control, election meddling, and a level of dominance over the populace that reminds us of some of the most vicious communist regimes.

Forbes:

Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered an investigation into Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of social media app X, formerly Twitter, as part of an escalating conflict between the company and the nation’s government—which accuses the platform of hosting influential accounts that spread fake news and misinformation.

On Saturday, X’s Global Government Affairs account confirmed that “certain popular accounts in Brazil” were blocked—but noted that X was restricted from revealing which accounts were targeted and was not told which posts violated the law or the reason the blocking orders were issued.

However, Musk ordered the company to reinstate the accounts on Saturday night, claiming the order is unconstitutional and calling on De Moraes to resign or face impeachment.

In a court order issued on Sunday, De Moraes accused Musk of starting a “disinformation campaign,” “instigating the disobedience and obstruction of justice,” and “declaring that the platform will terminate compliance with the orders issued by the Brazilian Court related to blocking profiles criminals and who spread fraudulent news.”

De Moraes ordered an investigation into Musk’s conduct to determine if he committed obstruction of justice, criminal organization and incitement to crime, and fined the company 100,000 reais ($19,762.85) per day if X disobeys previous court orders or reactivates any of the accounts that were previously ordered banned.

This is the ghoul who spearheaded the legal attack on X and free speech. He looks like Disney villain Jafar from “Aladdin.”

Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald, who was once charged with “cybercrime” in Brazil, has a lot to say about this latest tyranny:

Glenn Greenwald Rants About Brazil’s Alexandre De Moraes’ Authoritarian Censorship Regime Citing The New York Times

“The Brazilian left hated him until he took on the role of chief censor and began censoring, apparently, almost everybody who the Brazilian left regarded as their enemy.”

“Especially, Bolsanaro supporters. Including ordering members of Congress arrested and journalists having their homes searched and seized, and now he’s a hero to the Brazilian left.”

“If you question this judge, you will be called a defender of fascism even though what this judge is most known for is this very extreme censorship regime that was even a bridge too far for the New York Times.”

“Mr. Moraes has jailed five people without a trial for posts on social media that he said attacked Brazil’s institutions. He didn’t order them censored. He ordered them jailed with no trial.”

“The only time in my entire career as a journalist that I have ever wondered if I should really be questioning, challenging, or critiquing a political official is this person, who has gone so far as to order people to be imprisoned without a trial for criticizing him.”

“If you criticize Alexandre De Moraes, you get banned or perhaps imprisoned, which is why I spent every second up until this show started on the phone with my lawyers.”

“Alexandre De Moraes is the target of people’s criticism, so in his view, he’s the victim of people’s illegal speech. He then initiates his own legal process to get these people arrested or censored, and then he sits as the judge in his own case—a case that he himself initiated. A case that he considers himself the victim. Then, he judges these people guilty and orders them to be arrested or banned from the internet.”

“Do you know how repressive a censorship regime has to be for the New York Times to write an article like this? Regardless of how authoritarian or repressive you think Bolsanaro is, the institutions acting against him, in particular this Supreme Court, have become more repressive.”

However, now the situation has escalated to an even more disturbing level. Conservative powerhouse “Alx” shared the latest developments: apparently, the Brazilian government is now threatening to arrest X employees, prompting Elon Musk to scramble to get them to safety.

Here’s a closeup of the image Alx shared:

Collin Rugg, the co-founder of Trending Politics, also shared this on X about this insanely evil turn of events:

BREAKING: Elon Musk says that X employees in Brazil have been told they will be arrested as Brazilian leadership continues to attack free speech.

The comment from Musk came in response to Brazilian politician Nikolas Ferreira.

“We need to get our employees in Brazil to a safe place or otherwise not in a position of responsibility, then we will do a full data dump.”

“They have been told they will be arrested.”

Insane.

Sadly, we’re on the very edge of watching Brazil turn into a total police state.

Travis in Flint:

Happening Now: Brazil is currently hours away from a total police state. The Attorney General of Brazil Jorge Messias, along with Justice Alexandre de Moraes and President Lula, are calling for Elon Musk to shut down popular accounts or they’re shutting down X.

Elon Musk has refused to cave, stating free speech is paramount. Justice Moraes has been in contact with internet providers so they can be ready to shut down X as soon as the decision is made.

How is it in 2024 a society can so openly fall into fascism? What happened to freedom and how are we letting this happen? These men should be thrown in jail at a minimum!

Isn’t it quite ironic that those who loudly champion “democracy” for Ukraine turn silent as church mice when it comes to the Supreme Court of Brazil’s tyrannical censorship and assault on so-called “democracy?” It seems outlandish, but the reason is actually quite simple: those who remain silent want this exact scenario to unfold in America.

They’re the “good guys,” remember?

And hey, bonus points if this kind of Marxist tyranny unfolds in the United States before the 2024 election.
